Here we are! (in order) Jim, Ian & Jeff making our first appearance as Team NITRO BLAST at the HPI Challenge race in Torrance Ca. on Nov. 6th & 7th.

What a great day of racing! With nearly 250 drivers from the USA and Europe Team NITRO BLAST met lots of new folks and got to see many old friends.

NITRO BLAST stickers were given to everyone that stopped by the booth, and took a look at the Helicopter, Airplane and 1/10th scale HPI RS4 on display that had data posted as to how they improved performance by using NITRO BLAST.

We recieved a little attention from RC Car magazine in the March 2000 issue, many new winners were running NITRO BLAST treated fuel for the first time!

NITRO BLAST TO THE RESCUE!

We provided technical and product support for the demonstration portion of the day, where HONDA employees were allowed to give RC racing a try. Lots of rookie racers got a chance to see first hand how a normal RC car can benefit from NITRO BLAST treated fuel. Many entered drivers also we're shown directly how NITRO BLAST can keep them running too. Several cars were not running well enough for the novice drivers to keep them from flaming-out, and they were getting real hot from constant full throttle runs so NITRO BLAST TO THE RESCUE! With a little wrenching on the ones that wouldn't run, and NITRO BLAST treated fuel in each of them after a flame out, NONE QUIT RUNNING for the remaining time of an hour. That is PERFORMANCE!

Team NITRO BLAST would like to give a special thanks to Team Pepsi Chris Yung & Craig Tasker who saved the day and let Ian get to his main by giving us some of those AWESOME silicone products from General Silicones USA. Ian had blown out his manifold coupler and we didn't have any with us. We were Sweating bullets, so Craig came over with a coupler for Ian's car, and Pepsi for our thirsts!

I also would like to congratulate Chris on winning the A Main in Nitro Open, GREAT JOB CHRIS!
